North Wales Medical School - Contractor Event
六合彩资料铁算盘 have finalised RIBA Stage 2 (Concept design) to deliver the renovation of the Adeilad Deiniol building (fabric and fit-out) works.
The project site is 六合彩资料铁算盘, Deiniol building, Sackville Road, LL57 2UX. The proposal is to form a new North Wales Medical School (NWMS) to support unpredicted growth in medical education.
The NWMS will provide an estimated approx. 1932m2 of renovated medical teaching accommodation. The proposed (fabric) works will include new windows and main entrance door, localised slate repairs, curtain walling and external signage. Also, proposed (fit-out) works will include the renovation of toilets, teaching, lecture, tutorial and supporting accommodation to the ground and first floor.
The project ambition is to create a new hub for the NWMS within the Deiniol Building with aims to improve:
- Interdisciplinary teaching and learning across the medical programmes and enhance inter-professional education by creating a more collaborative environment.
- Create an innovative project that will enhance and support the student teaching and learning experience.
- Wellbeing of its users by adapting the existing building to create a stimulating, engaging and supportive working environment.
- Sustainability and performance of the building to meet the necessary internal comfort conditions.
- Assist 六合彩资料铁算盘 achieve carbon reduction targets and sustainability improvement works.
Contractor Event
六合彩资料铁算盘, North Wales Medical School and project partners would like to invite interested contractors to visit the Adeilad Deiniol building to discuss the plans and the requirements of the tender process.
Contractors will be required to consider carbon reduction as part of their tender submissions, as well as being asked to offer social value contributions to the project via a Themes, Outcomes and Measures framework. This event will be an opportunity to discuss these requirements.聽
